The Transformation Products & Services PerformanceManagement team focuses on creating, communicating, and impacting allfinancial, clinical, and operational metrics that drive the outcomes of themajor clinical programs in the CVS Transformation organization. Thisincludes Utilization Management, Care Management, and all medical cost savingsinitiatives including CVS Synergies.


Retrieves, organizes and performs analysis on data, is actively involved in decision making process to provide results against plan objectives. Focus will be on clinical platform data related to Care Management programs related to member engagements. These metrics will help the operations and finance teams assess the performance of new CVS Integration Synergy initiatives as well as make business decisions on how to improve our programs.



Fundamental Components:
Analyzes more complex types of operational and clinical data, and presents results against budgets and benchmarks, performs variance analysis. Produces more complex ad hoc reports to satisfy information needs across products/segments and markets. Works cross-functionally across teams with a particular focus on clinical operations leadership.

Background Experience:
Demonstrates initiative, innovation and leadership in achieving results.
Demonstrates critical thinking and expresses ideas clearly, concisely and logically from a cross functional perspective.
Advanced skills in Excel, MS-Access and Web-based query tools (MCM, data warehouse). Ability to learn new technologies.
Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the managed care industry with knowledge of provider contracting, provider reimbursement, patient management, product and benefits design.
Strong analytical ability and familiarity with advanced financial and healthcare concepts.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently.

Functional Skills:
General Management - Data analysis & interpretation, General Management - Data tools: building & utilization, General Management - Process & quality improvement

Technology Experience:
Database - Microsoft Access, Database - SQL Server, Desktop Tool - TE Microsoft Excel
