Contracting (VBC) agreements.
59782Fundamental Components: *Analytical and implementation support for provider specific Value Based Contracting including project managing implementation and payment support of signed agreements.
*Work both independently and collaboratively with business units across the company and be part of a larger team that provides medical cost and outcomes focused analytical research, complex financial modeling and business decision support reporting.
*Participate in local market network discussions as VBC implementation subject matter expert. Proactively track and facilitate meeting VBC agreement commitments throughout the contract life cycle.
*Ability to meet tight deadlines within the context of potentially changing priorities, working both independently and facilitating cross-functional solutions.
*The position requires strong communication skills creating an environment of teamwork with internal Aetna and external provider constituents.
*Requires an understanding of the healthcare industry, healthcare data, common healthcare terminology and medical cost issues & strategies; previous
*Medical Economics/Informatics/Finance experience is desired. Background Experience: *Must be able to work with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and understand relational database concepts.
*Candidate must be detail oriented, methodical and accurate in work since it affects provider payments. Skills in Aetna *Data Warehouse, other software skills are a plus (ex: SAS, Crystal, SQL, Visual Basic) and prior pay for performance experience a plus including basic modeling and data manipulation.
