65614Fundamental Components: Provide leadership and management to a group of Learning and Performance Professionals in same or related discipline; achieving or exceeding all Aetna’s expectations for leaders.Participate in the implementation of the department's training strategy to supports the achievement of Aetna's mission and business performance goals and align with Aetna's national learning strategy.Ensure that Aetna's strategic messages are appropriately imbedded in training tools and programs.Serves as Learning and Performance business partner and account representative to consultatively ensure business partner needs are met and that there is an influx and outflow of all relevant business and learning information to meet the business partner’s tactical and strategic goals(*). Utilize a variety of educational media to ensure the right training is available to support the specific needs of multiple and diverse audiences within area(s) of accountability.Manages the delivery of performance-based training for designated audience(*). Participates in the design, development and evaluation of effectiveness and return on value of training programs.Ensure compliance with all Aetna learning standards and policies (e.g., vendor management, learning management, instructional design and user interface standards etc.).Collaborate with other corporate and functional training areas for impact and integration of efforts.Simultaneously participate on and/or lead multiple, complex project teams.Communicate regularly with local/regional/national training design and development staff to influence the design of program content and provide feedback on program effectiveness.Incorporate feedback gathered from participants and other relevant audiences to improve training, processes and products.Ensure that the Learning and Performance Professionals effectively manages curriculum, reporting and other relevant administrative requirements through the Aetna Learning Center.Conducts performance trending analysis to determine the expectations and gaps for the intended audiences(*). Consults with organizational leaders and work groups to assist and influence the development of complex, specialized learning strategies to improve organizational performance(*). Uses formal instructional design methodology to design ,develop and deliver performance-based training and educational tools(*). Develops and conducts follow-up assessments to determine the effectiveness and ROI of training programs(*). Works in partnership as appropriate with external vendors to deliver training tools and programs that meet the needs of multiple, diverse audiences and integrate effectively into Aetna's architecture(*). Utilizes workforce and talent analytics in conjunction with Aetna’s strategic and operational goals to determine development needs for aligned businesses(*). Manages overall curriculum used by Learning and Performance Professionals to ensure consistency and compliance with all company policy and procedures(*). Develops and conducts follow-up assessments to determine the effectiveness and ROI of training programs.Effectively manages curriculum, delivery , reporting and other relevant administrative requirements through the Aetna Learning Center.Exhibits behaviors outlined in Training Supervisor Skills and Learning Consultant Skills(*). Superior knowledge and application formal instructional design methodology to design develop and deliver sophisticated, complex and/or enterprise-wide, performance-based training and educational tools(*). Background Experience: Ideal candidate has Healthcare and/or Sales experience. Strong knowledge and application of performance-based instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles and educational media. 3-5 years management experience. Educational background in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles and/or performance consulting.5-7 years experience in a corporate training or related function.Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.Bachelor's degree.
