Manager - Financial Reporting - 71620BR

Primary Location: Hartford, CT
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford
This is an individual contributor managerial finance position in CVS's International America's business unit. You will be responsible for participating and leading multi-functional projects and performing complex financial reporting and analysis. This role requires strong accounting and technical skills with proven cross functional collaboration. The ideal candidate exhibits leadership qualities, is self-motivated, a quick learner, and enjoys working independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proven ability to support multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring flexibility to meet deadlines.
  • Can successfully manage projects requiring cross functional collaboration with key stakeholders (sales, operations, finance, enterprise)
  • Strategic thinking - works independently thinking through issues from beginning to end
  • Performs complex financial reporting and analysis
  • Properly identifies and communicates areas of concern to leadership with recommendation for resolution
  • Communicates in a professional manner both verbally and in writing

Background Experience:
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 4+ years professional experience in financial reporting or financial analysis with knowledge of accounting and proven technology-based skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data query and data management abilities.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ project management experience with proven cross-functional collaboration
  • Overtime is required during peak periods
  • Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Practical experience with a focus in automating and streamlining processes using various technical and financial tools
  • Working knowledge of MS Access
  • Comprehensive business knowledge
  • CPA, Qualified Accountant or Chartered Accountant
