This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of Business objects reports supporting Medicare Business functional leads. This position will assist in architecting and building the rapid development reporting environment and maintain and enhance automated reports. This also includes being able to extract; collect; analyze and interpret healthcare member data to address business questions regarding population health; quality of care and other healthcare business needs. And directly work with end-users and internal business partners to create; Reports, Publications and Dashboards within SAP Business Objects.

(*) Expert in performing as a Business Analyst, such as: Process mapping, Gathering reporting requirements from business partners; creating business/functional requirement documents based on end user needs
(*) Responsible for building new reports, enhancing existing reports and Testing, Scheduling and Publishing the report on fixed schedules
(*) In-depth knowledge of BI 4.x environments, Design Tools (IDT and UDT) and Web Intelligence (WebI).
(*) Experience in CMC to monitor and set up the security model to manage end user access privileges
(*) Managing creation of reports / dashboards through the Development, Test, Production process (DEV-QA-PROD)
(*) Strong working knowledge of various database connection setups through Business Objects client tools.
(*) Experience in implementing best practices, including error handling, alerting and scheduling
(*) Proficient in SQL and have a solid understanding of data modeling, databases and will be able to collaborate and design the back end data model that suit the reporting needs (Knowledge in DB2 is a Plus)
(*) Provide assistance and support to business partners addressing their ad-hoc requests
Background Experience: BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
(*) 3 or more years of health care or Medicare industry analytic experience (preferred)
(*) Deep knowledge of analytic programming tools and methods (Business Objects).
(*) Understanding of relational databases, data systems and data warehouses.
(*) Demonstrated extensive and diverse knowledge of health care data, metrics, systems and standards; demonstrated subject matter expert in multiple subject areas.
(*) Strong problem solving, analytical, and project management skills
(*) Able to make sound decisions and recommendations to drive business solutions.
(*) Strong leadership experience, collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.
(*) Strong reporting skills using Excel, Access, Word and/or PowerPoint.
(*) Strong problem solving skills and critical thinking ability.
