Info Security AnalystPrimary Location: Hartford, Connecticut

67954Fundamental Components: Support the analysis and remediation of IT security and IT risk (e.g., data systems, network and/or web) across the enterprise. Address questions from internal and external audits and examinations. Develop policies, procedures and standards that meet existing and newly developed policy and regulatory requirements including PII, PHI, and/or HIPAA and NIST 800.53 guidance. Facilitate IT security/risk training curriculum. Serve as project manager/lead within IT security projects. Promote awareness of applicable regulatory standards, upstream risks and industry best practices across the Company Background Experience: Bachelor’s Degree, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Security or related field required
2+ years’ experience in administering IT security controls in an organization Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases and systems preferred
1-year Experience with IPS/IDS or SIEM technologies preferred
A desire to obtain a CISSP within one year
Prior experience working within a health insurance or health care organization preferred
Prior experience working with regulatory agencies including providing evidence for audits
Knowledge of HIPAA and NIST 800.53 guidelines preferred
Project management skills preferred Additional Job Information: Best candidate will be self driven and have a wide knowledge of technologies and cybersecurity foundations.
Experience in security audits a plus
Awareness of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, COBIT) preferred
