Director - Hybrid Cloud Operations - 62025BR

Primary Location: Hartford, Connecticut

The Hybrid Cloud Enablement organization leads the end-to-end delivery and operations of cloud services to the CVS Health enterprise. Within HCE, the Cloud Operations Lead is responsible for the post-implementation visibility and transparency of cloud services in use. This role ensures that the cloud services in place are meeting or exceeding quality and performance expectations, are financially viable, and drives cost and service optimization. Looking for a result-oriented Service Delivery Manager with the ability to work across organizations internally and externally, and with a high degree of customer focus.

Fundamental Components:
Develops knowledge of cloud infrastructure usage by internal customers and affiliates within CVS Health. Maintains a high level of commitment to, and focus on, customer requirements.

Provides oversight of cloud suppliers and vendors and their adherence to agree-upon service levels to meet customer expectations.

Drives development of service dashboards and reporting that captures our delivery of cloud services, analyzes trends, and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.

Oversees the reporting/internal billing reporting for cloud consumption by CVS Health business units and affiliates. Uses this information to drive customer conversations and develop optimization plans.

Partners with IT Finance to properly distribute charges and recover expenses associated with Cloud service consumption.

Manages the relationship with internal audit and compliance teams, ensuring that cloud platforms are meeting CVS Health and industry regulatory requirements.

Leads the development and enhancement of the Cloud Service Catalog platform enabling self-service access to Cloud information and usage within CVS Health.

Identifies need for, and evaluates best-practice use of, cloud operations, financial and reporting tools.

Provides executive overviews of and regular operations reviews, including performance reporting and improvement/progress in the above areas.

Partners with Hybrid Cloud Engineering and the broader infrastructure organization to realize identified enhancements and plan for future investments.

Background Experience:
4+ years of experience in Cloud technologies including IaaS, PaaS, and software-as-a-service. Proven track record of working with and managing engineering and technical teams to realize change. Very strong financial acumen and analysis skills and executive communication. Experience with vendor management and oversight. Demonstrated teamwork, positive attitude and good rapport with peers and customers. Ability to multi task in a fast paced continually changing environment. High-energy, creativity and inventiveness to devise new ways of sharing information and building customer rapport.
