Group Retiree, Large Group Implementations - (64096BR)

Primary Location: Hartford, CT
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford
Client facing role responsible for complex Group Retiree, Large Group implementations. Sets strategic direction for implementation team and/or other Group Retiree partners (e.g., national in scope which may impact one or all segments, and typically runs multiple years in duration with high financial implications). Has full accountability for all aspects of large group client implementation.

Fundamental Components:
Sets the direction of Group Retiree client specific implementation plan in partnership with sales leader. As a business leader, influences all stake holders to support key projects/programs to ensure positive outcomes that deliver on results. Drives change in order to improve performance results, organization effectiveness and/osystems/quality/services (e.g., policies, processes or systems). Identifies gaps in processes or organization and challenges self and others to develop and implement solutions. Ensures accurate prioritization of key projects/programs within purview needed for specific Group Retiree large group clients. In this client facing role, is lead for implementation kick off and on-going client implementation sessions (all aspects of prep work and planning needed for each client interaction) and is the face to the Group Retiree client for implementation. Works closely with Medicare Service Ops (MSO) and other Group Retiree partners.


Background Experience:
  • Proven track record managing complex projects and or programs that resulted in cost savings.
  • Multiple years proven leadership experience setting strategic direction and influencing change that resulted in quantifiable positive outcomes. Experience managing large budgets.
  • 10+ years managed care / health insurance industry experience.
  • Project management experience. Experience working with large employers, unions in the National Accounts and/or Public Sector space. 5+ years experience in client facing role with large employers.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Strong verbal and written communications skills.
