Aetna has an exciting position within the Aetna Controller Group located in Hartford, CT. The incumbent will assist in the fulfillment of the Company's internal financial reporting obligations and internal control objectives.
*Assist in the fulfillment of the Company's internal financial reporting obligations, internal control objectives and financial system design and operation.
*Create and/or modify monthly close reports to improve managements understanding of financial/expense trends and results.
*Assist in department projects including Division wide Oracle General Ledger Chart of Accounts.
*Adapt to business-driven internal reporting requirements
*Analyze, leverage and apply technology or processes that enhance the efficiency, functionality and capability of business areas within the company.
*3-5 years relevant experience.
*Prior experience participating on a project team required
*Microsoft Excel proficiency
*Strong communication and written skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Functional - Finance/Financial analysis/1-3 Years
Functional - Finance/Financial reporting and analysis - internal control/1-3 Years
Technical - Database/Hyperion Essbase/1-3 Years/End User
Technical - Reporting Tools/Oracle Reports/1-3 Years/End User
