Description:
Advanced finance position performing complex assignments requiring advanced analytical and technical skills.Within the IT Finance and Shared Services Department, the role will be primarily responsible for implementing, sustaining, and improving the Metrics/KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reporting initiative; working with a variety of departments within the organization and the enterprise.

Fundamental Components:
Develop partnerships with business stakeholders to develop parameters for metrics reporting and establish technical requirements to support monthly dashboard reporting packages, and ad-hoc supplements, primarily delivered via Tableau business intelligence software. Identifying effective means for data importation from a variety of sources, then utilizing automation when possible into interactive Tableau dashboards.
Apply project management skills to effectively plan, develop and execute on business intelligence projects. Support ad-hoc projects in backing of various initiatives and special projects within the organization. Experience with business intelligence software (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.), data mining, SQL, required.

Performs more complex financial reporting requiring advanced analytical and technical skills May serve as Subject Matter Expert for the business unit participating in and sometimes leading special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed Provides data and analysis to support the unit's mission Assists with analysis of key components of financial results and address questions as needed Supports financial information requests from business unit management May serve as team lead providing guidance and training to less experienced staff members


Background Experience:
3-5 years finance related experience generally required, healthcare finance a plus. Tableau, Altery SQL desired. Bachelor’s Degree; Finance or Accounting degree required

Can complete project tracking tools. Ability to manipulate large amount of data into concise analytical reports. Work independently with business areas to compile information. Demonstrates leadership. Influence people within areas of responsibility. Aetna business knowledge (outside department business). PC skills in Excel, Access, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL. Comprehensive business knowledge
