Drive total allocated Commercial Business expense strategy and Direct SG&A as part of the Commercial Product Development and Expense Management team. This individual will be responsible for partnering with the Commercial senior leadership and influencing shared service matrixed partners to drive Commercial expense efficiencies by crafting more robust and meaningful expense reporting, providing strategic cost management guidance, and ultimately creating a more efficient cost structure for over $5B of SG&A. In addition, this position supports the monthly expense analysis, forecast and budgeting processes, and senior leadership reporting and commentary.






Fundamental Components:

Become and act as the trusted finance and expense partner for Commercial leadership with financial accountability for total Allocated Commercial Expenses

  • Work closely and develop strong relationships with senior matrixed partners and influence to drive accurate cost measures and metrics which align to fixed/variable cost levers
  • Effectively communicate and influence key leaders and stakeholders to understand and rationalize areas of expense
  • Provide strategic and technical financial expertise throughout the organization for ongoing expense management including larger scale initiatives requiring investments
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end business processes across Commercial and build reporting and analytics to identify areas of focus for efficiency improvement
  • Drive efficient consolidation and management process for Commercial and LMO expenses through the forecast/budget cycles along with producing monthly reporting and expense driver commentary
  • Healthcare, insurance, or finance services area preferred



Background Experience:
  • Minimum 5+ years related accounting/financial experience with business planning, accounting, expense management, and financial analysis
  • Minimum 3+ years proven ability to lead large projects and cross functional initiatives
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar disciplines required
