Executive Assistant

Primary Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford
The Executive Assistant will independently provide advanced, diversified and confidential administrative support requiring experience, skill and knowledge of the organizations operations, policies and practices. This person will initiate correspondence and coordinate complex meetings and travel arrangements both internally and externally. Coordinates Leader's time commitments both internally and externally. Has authority to handle most issues in Manager's absence. The EA will support the Leader's in Statutory/MLR and Reinsurance/Investment Accounting AND their team of directs and includes organizing/running team meetings, etc.

Fundamental Components:
- Majority of work involves confidential business material
- Organizes, prioritizes, and responds to inquiries; directs inquiries to appropriate area for response, as necessary; must be able to work effectively in ambiguous situations
- Proactively coordinates calendars, making all changes independently, for both internal and external time commitments while ensuring that priorities are accomplished, and unplanned items are address appropriately
- Coordinates travel arrangements and manages expense reports for manager and other key leaders
- Assist with hiring/on boarding new employees
- Coordinates office facilities including meeting planning, space reservations, leases, furniture, equipment, building and telephone system maintenance
- Catering/Food arrangements
- Coordinate signatures and attestations for senior leaders
- Pay all invoices/assessments/fees
- Coordinate Purchase Orders and License Renewals
- Preparation of filings, Power Points, correspondence
- Records retention and SharePoint coordinator
- Track required training's
- Applies critical thinking skills in daily work and interactions with employees and external constituents
- Demonstrates resiliency and commitment during times of change
- Multi-tasks to accomplish workload effectively

Background Experience:
*5+ years executive administrative support experience
*Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
*MS Office suite
