Executive Assistant

Primary Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford
The Executive Assistant will Independently provide advanced, diversified and
confidential administrative support requiring broad experience, skill and
knowledge of organization operations, policies and practices. Initiates
correspondence, resolves complex inquiries, coordinates meetings and travel
arrangements. Coordinates Manager's time commitments both internally and
externally. Has authority to handle most issues in Manager's absence.

Fundamental Components:
Manages all daily operations of the office of Executive Director, Strategic Cost
Analysis as well as an Executive Role currently being recruited, including
triaging inquiries and requests from internal and external constituents

Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with enterprise leaders,
their assistants and the broader organization to manage deliverables and

Proactively manages calendars for internal and external commitments

Is attentive to and understands the organization and talent

Proactively supports communications, needs and issue resolution

Organizes, prioritizes and responds to inquiries and directs to appropriate
area for response

Creates efficiency for managers time by reading, researching, and routing
correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing

Monitors status of all assigned tasks and ensures timely closure

Organizes and maintains all critical files, correspondence and records

Manages PTO and expense reports for managers and approval process for direct

Facilitates arrangements for and welcomes guests and customers; answering or
directing inquiries

Multi-tasks to accomplish workload efficiently

Oversees real estate needs, procurement process, ARIBA expense and office
supply management.

Models integrity and ethical behavior in all situations; ensures

Accountable for follow-up on issues identified in meetings (e.g., staff
assignments) and enterprise deliverables

In Managers absence, has the authority to handle most issues

Leads special projects

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops; establishing personal networks; participating in professional

Background Experience:
10+ years executive administrative support experience.
