POSITION SUMMARY
Medicare is a top growth area for Aetna as an enterprise and for the Government business. In 20189 the Group Retiree business will be responsible for over $10 billion in revenue. This role is responsible for leading a team that focuses on direct to retiree communications strategies for Group Retiree customers and enabling sales through the execution of communications initiatives. This role is also responsible setting the strategic direction for the direct-to-consumer sales enablement department.

Fundamental Components:
Owns and drives the development and execution of sales enablement strategies in support of the Group Retiree business and customers.
-Oversees and leads the identification and implementation of program management and work processes for the D2C sales enablement team
-Instills a culture of test and learn of leading D2C strategies with retirees, including measuring the effectiveness of campaign tactics and managing the ongoing process and tool enhancements that drive client satisfaction and efficiency without compromising efficacy.
-Develops strong relationships at all levels within the Group Retiree business, the Commercial business teams where we share clients and across the enterprise.
-Stays abreast of industry trends around D2C communications and explores new tactics to test that will continue to demonstrate the value and expertise that Aetna brings to clients.
-Works with Group Retirees clients to develop and execute on engagement strategies for retirees. This includes participation in client meetings, finalist presentations and in support of open enrollment meetings where sales enablement collateral and engagement strategies are used.
-Responsible for providing strategic guidance to the team, while supporting the implementation of marketing programs and communications plans to support Group Retiree client goals
-Responsible for leading team that supports and assists in annual open enrollment activity for specific clients, marketing material development and presentations.
-Responsible for broader Group Retiree member engagement strategies tied to sales enablement initiatives such as developing member video testimonials, executing on new digital strategies such as virtual town halls and email campaigns
-Overall responsibility for managing the D2C retiree sales enablement team, including planning team meetings and managing D2C budget
-Overall responsibility for managing external agencies who are working on project deliverables, as needed



BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
10+ years of progressive experience in marketing or related field.
Experience working in highly regulated industry a plus.
Experience working with agency/marketing project management/automation.
Proven ability to work in fast paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Experience working with large employer groups in the Commercial or Government Service space preferred

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
