Business Project Program Manager

Primary Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford
Position is a key role in creating and managing Group Medicare member materials such as Evidence of Coverage (EOC) and Annual Notice of Change (ANOC).

Fundamental Components:
Maintain current knowledge of CMS regulations and Aetna business practices that pertain to Annual Notice of Change and Evidence of Coverage materials. Review and analyze potential changes and updates and apply to group specific materials.

Assist with materials development and ensure accuracy in group ANOC/EOCs and compliance with applicable CMS regulations, and/or State regulations.

Strong communication skills required able to clearly communicate with business and AIS partners and external vendors both verbally and in writing. Able to coordinate and lead discussions with internal business partners and ensure that clear deadlines are established and met.

Actively involved in ensuring timely completion and production of all documents, including establishing structured timelines for development and mailing of documents.

Must be able to work independently learn end to end process and apply that understanding to all projects/tasks to ensure the best possible end resolution. Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Group Materials.

Handle diverse set of responsibilities, prioritize as necessary.

Strong Project Management background required.

Proven track record in establishing, tracking and meeting project milestones

Medicare experience preferred.

Able to work independently and use understanding of expected end results to drive all activities.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, flexible and able to communicate and collaborate with business partners across many areas of the company.

5+ years related experience including compliance, communications, detailed document writing, or member materials development in the managed care industry preferred.

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
