For CVS’s Medical Affairs organization, lead multiple clinically focused cross functional teams that develop strategies to reduce unnecessary costs, improve quality and prepare for emerging medical technologies. Simultaneously manage multiple teams and multiple projects from ideation to execution.

Fundamental Components:
CVS Health-Aetna’s Clinical Insights & Analytics team is a highly effective and respected department in Medical Affairs organization. The individual in this position reports to a Vice President and Medical Director. We enjoy a collaborative team environment with a high level of autonomy and job satisfaction.
This role will lead multiple clinically focused cross functional teams that develop strategies to reduce costs, improve quality and prepare for emerging medical technologies. Simultaneously manage multiple teams and multiple projects from ideation to execution. Work effectively with peers, manager, clinical leads, team members, stakeholders and partners. In conjunction with analysts, determine analytical strategy and interpret and communicate results of analyses. Establish and implement strategy and tactics, clearly document and communicate project status, outcomes, and next steps in verbal and written communications, create team agenda, effectively work with vendors, facilitate team and sub-group meetings, escalate issues that could impede project progress, and keep manager, peers and partners informed of project status.



Background Experience:
Proven track record in meeting project milestones.
Experience developing budgets for projects and programs.
4-6 years proven project management skills
1-3 years data analysis & interpretation, as well as strategic planning
1-3 years Medical / Clinical claim review & coding
1-3 years’ experience with Microsoft suite: Excel, Outlook, & PowerPoint



Additional Job Information:
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.Proven ability to satisfy customers needs and develop alternatives to resolve issues.
