Job Description:

Ensures successful delivery of product infrastructure support for a variety of complex components and/or systems. Leads moderately complex projects based on level of project management, product and systems expertise. Functions as SME to drive enhancements

Uses creative and independent thinking, initiative, and a thorough understanding of Aetna's systems and processes to execute on results including deliverables and product enhancements and apply knowledge of workflows to systems and downstream effects and to function as a SME. Will drive meetings on their own. Adherence to the use of appropriate business processes, systems and technology to support products, efficiency, quality and compliance and communicates changes to the broader organization Continually evaluates, analyzes and implements opportunities to more effectively support products within a set of specified systems Owns a specific, complex set of existing deliverables, (such as benefit rules, benefit mapping, and Product Book of Records execution) associated with delivering product data into downstream Aetna systems. Performs analysis and translates product requirements into technical specifications by partnering with Product Managers and IT to ensure the intent of the benefit and integrity of the product are maintained. Holds fully developed product and benefit knowledge to support completion of duties and ability to function as a SME. Acts as a leader to support the development of design requirements/specifications, processes and regulatory concerns Anticipates and resolves issues proactively Document and follow stated internal procedures, conduct research and obtain clarification of information in order to ensure that all decisions effectively support business processes Create standard work, ensure processes support organizations initiatives Works closely with the entire product organization to ensure product and benefit data entered into our system complies with federal and state legislation, Aetna product standards, and other parameters defined by our business and technical partners to ensure products are delivered.



Background Experience:

Experience Desired:

  • Knowledge of Aetna quoting applications (AQC, CCFE) and PERS/BPLVs is preferred
  • Familiarity with the new business and renewal business Sales/Underwriting and Case Installation processes
  • Product and benefit experience/knowledge required
  • 3-6 years related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
