CVS Health is looking for mental acrobats who aren’t afraid to use all their technical skills, business understanding, and stellar communication skills to tackle complex problems as part of the Office of the CTO. Healthcare is a magnet for change and with it comes the challenges of increasingly complex ecosystems. Wicked problems might include business processes, design, data engineering & analytics, platforms, integration and much more. This highly dynamic team is looking for a few good people who enjoy scientific, social and intuitive research tactics to help the whole of CVS Health to achieve its goals.

Fundamental Components:
Two characteristics of our team are that we are fearless collaborators and have a sense of urgency. CVS Health is a place where people work better, together. We are part of a new conversation around healthcare
and want to be healthy participants in this dialogue.

Wicked Problems solvers are part of the architecture forensics group. We are excellent versatilists: explain complex challenges simply, perpetual learners, share energy within a team and are stellar visual communicators. We measure success in swiftness, clarity, and ability to empower the success of others. Thank you’s and positive emoticons are highly recognized.

Background Experience:
What you are good at:

- Technology: Depth in one or many areas of technology. Including but not limited to data, development, XaaS Platforms, design (digital / UI / UX), integration patterns and much more.
- Storytelling: Written – Words matter. You don’t have always to say the right things, but appreciate the words count.
-Pictures are 1000 words. Able to visual conceptualize ideas through whiteboards, technical tools, and cartoons if applicable.
- Networking with real people: Keeping circles of colleagues and friends inside and out of the role is critical. Your team and beyond enable your knowledge and enthusiasm to scale exponentially. LinkedIn and Facebook connections don’t count here.
- Taking and giving feedback. We value a healthy dialogue of continual improvement and want you to fit into our culture.
- Puzzles: Wicked Problems can be like solving a puzzle without the full picture. Colors, lines, and shapes matter.

Extra bonus points if:
- Consider developing code to be as easy as Legos™
- Have participated in a company’s transformation program
- Have considered and built a personal brand
- Have had architect or project lead in a past job title
- Consider art and technology to be a converged medium
