Underwriting Associate - Accounting

Primary Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford, PA-Harrisburg

Position Summary/Mission:

Commercial Business Financial Accounting Customer Team (CB FACT) is seeking you out to join their outstanding team as an Underwriting Associate. Individual will be responsible for the creation, analysis and completion of annual accounting and Schedule A/C reporting for our plan sponsors. May be limited to a single product, market and financial arrangement initially. This position involves technical work and application of underwriting, accounting and/or financial principles.

Fundamental Components/Job Description:

Individual will analyze input/outputs for reasonability (e.g., recorded claims, premiums, reserves, expenses, account structure, etc.) to determine year end balances and present completed accountings to Field Sales for delivery to commercial business customers. Will be expected to produce timely and accurate accountings while working collaboratively with business associates across departments. Individual will be trained to utilize accounting tools, reference materials and source systems in support of the accounting process. This is a task oriented position and high production environment.
