As our business has continued to grow we are hiring for a Senior Director, Sales Lifecycle Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for a entrepreneurial spirit, who enjoys working for a trusted organization serving our Medicare population.

Our Senior Director, Sales Lifecycle Marketing will provide leadership across multiple sales support departments for HealthSpire. Direct the resolution of highly complex business problems which impact enterprise-wide sales support processes. Designs and executes strategies and action steps to assist in successfully sell.

Key success factors for this role will be to improve our Tele-Sales Lifecycle and Marketing approach to improve the consumer experience, engaging our members and providing them a service beyond selling insurance and programs we offer. This is a very consumer driven (sales lifecycle) and how we can better sell to our members, understand their needs and how to simplify our process. Life Cycle includes, lead generation, sales with a consumer centric approach through retention activities and business development. Operations and Technology will be big factors in being able to grow and scale our business using existing and new membership base across the US.

Fundamental Components:

(*) Designs and implements the long-term strategic direction for multiple sales support departments.
(*) Partners with key business leaders across the organization to develop and execute business strategy and key initiatives.
(*) Impacts results by cultivating critical relationships across the organization (Sales, Service, Product Development, and Marketing) and directing the resolution of highly complex and strategic business problems.
(*) Applies knowledge of business, competitive landscape, and the regulatory environment to meet emerging market needs.
(*) Conveys HealthSpire's core values and business objectives to internal organization and external constituents.
(*) Determines key factors affecting the financial plan and proactively influences those factors to align with HealthSpire's goals based on knowledge of the economy, industry trends, and market place conditions.
(*) Participates in the development of market and segment compensation strategies to optimize sales, member retention, and earnings.
(*) Builds and guides a high performing diverse workforce.
(*) Aligns resources to support achievement of Key Performance Metrics.
(*) Works collaboratively with other business segments on sales, distribution, and compensation strategies.
(*) Takes leadership role on strategic initiatives that impacts the segment’s financial and strategic objectives.
(*) Negotiates internally with other business areas to ensure appropriate alignment of resources.
(*) Ensures compliance with Aetna’s policies; authorizes appropriate exceptions based on business needs.

Background Experience:

(*) Ability to effectively interact with a diverse workforce and cross functional groups required.
(*) Ability to deal effectively with multiple internal and external clients required.
(*) P&L expertise and possess a strong financial, bottom-line focus.
(*) 5 years of experience in leading complex, interdisciplinary projects to a timely completion required.
(*) 10 years of relevant experience in line of business management.
(*) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
(*) Demonstrated leadership and problem solving abilities.
(*) Bachelor's degree in a closely-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Job Information:
Background in health care industry and/or insurance highly desired.
Knowledge of Aetna’s operations and marketing process and strategies preferred.
Knowledge of current health care marketplace dynamics.
Knowledge of insurance regulatory and contractual requirements preferred.
