HealthSpire is in its 3rd year of exceptional growth and is a new kind of Insurance Agency, serving those who seek insurance quotes & enrollment help online, yet still prefer a little help from a Licensed Medicare agent on the phone.

HealthSpire is hiring a Senior Director of Medicare/ Healthcare Telesales to support our growing sales force and organization. This key leadership role will be responsible for recruiting, training, developing, and managing of the call center staff and activities in order to achieve superior business performance to achieve sales goals. And is accountable for talent development, employee engagement, sales volume, cost of sale, and quality of service. This role will directly report to General Manager of HealthSpire and will be highly visible within our top agency organization.

An ideal candidate would have hands on experience in running telesales operations for major healthcare company or broker (eg. eHealth) and Demonstrated ability to hire and develop high performing organization in telesales environment is must.


Fundamental Components:

(*) Manage a sales organization of 3 to 4 managers and 50 - 60 TeleAdvisors and with focus on day to day operations of call center selling portfolio of Medicare products.
(*) Responsible for executing telesales strategy to scale and grow business across all product lines (Medicare Advantage/MAPD, Medicare Supplement, PDP, Dental, Vision & Hearing, Cancer, Heart & Stroke, Hospital Indemnity Flex)
(*) Manage and develop career paths for top talent within organization, with emphasis on leadership development and performance management.
(*) Maximize effectiveness and efficiency of the sales operations (i.e. sales volume) leveraging capacity and productivity, among other levers, to achieve target sales volume and Cost Of Sale (CoS).
(*) Oversee and Lead daily operations of the call center including, but not limited to, scheduling, telephony, product training, licensing, appointments, incentives.
(*) Apply empirical evidence and quantitative analyses to successfully optimize sales operations, including but not limited to, campaign/agent skilling, scheduling, sales incentives.
(*) Partner with other functions (eg. Sales, analytics, digital) to ensure that call center staff and operations are well trained and prepared in order for effective and efficient operations of the team.
(*) Other duties as assigned.


BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

(*) At least 10 years in sales leadership role(s) preferably in Healthcare Insurance industry.
(*) 5+ years of managing individual contributors and managers.
(*) Superior knowledge of Medicare products desirable.
(*) Demonstrated experience in developing internal telesales capabilities for major healthcare/financial/insurance companies.
(*) Demonstrated entrepreneurship spirit.
(*) Life & Health insurance license is a plus but not required to be employed. It is required to obtain the license within 60 days from the employment start date.
(*) High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office package.


EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Insurance/Licensed Life & Health Insurance Agent (GA) is desired
