Marketing Communications Assistant

Primary Location: Franklin, TN
Additional Locations: TN-Franklin
Responsible for supporting the marketing department of a fast-paced, high growth Medicare Supplement business unit (Aetna Senior Supplemental Insurance). Marketing is responsible for the production and fulfillment of electronic and printed sales and promotional materials, as well as, internal and external communications.

Fundamental Components:
Supports development and production of communication materials (e.g., publications, marketing materials, communications). Coordinates distribution of communication materials. May research and write communication materials. May provide desktop publishing support and website maintenance support. This position requires attention to detail, a high level of organization, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders. Candidate should be self-motivated and able to work independently, asking questions as needed. Candidate should be a team player with a good attitude who is willing to learn and support the team on a variety of projects. Candidate should act with professionalism and demonstrate high personal standards of performance and integrity; complete and promote compliance training and policies; serve as a creditable resource to constituents.

Background Experience:
  • Entry level/early career
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong project management skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and proven ability to work both independently and on a team
  • Working knowledge of InDesign is a plus (not required)
