This role will sit in one of our hub locations; Franklin, TN, Chicago, IL or Atlanta, GA

Support actuarial functions by applying quantitative skills and analytical methods to well defined projects. Set own priorities within pre-established overall deadlines. Use strong technical skills in a functional manner and demonstrate fundamental business and product knowledge. In this role you'll be part of dynamic team environment that supports Medicare Supplement Products. You will interact with multiple departments internally as well as with the Department of Insurance in multiple states. Complete tasks independently with some direction from supervisor.


Fundamental Components:
This position is for an actuarial consultant who will work closely with the Senior Supplement Insurance actuarial team in a number of functions.
- Rate Reviews- Compile and analyze data to determine appropriate rating action.

- Reserve Analysis- Provide technical support in the analysis of reserve levels.
- Planning & Forecasting- Provide technical support for planning, forecasting and reporting process.
- Ad Hoc Analysis – Compile and analyze data.


Background Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1+ year(s) work experience.
Must have passed a minimum of 2+ actuarial exams and preparing to get their ASA
Any prior government or Supplemental experience is helpful
Strong communication skills and technical skills are desired

Additional Job Information:
Daily tasks will focus on Medicare Supplement annual state filings. Candidate will work with multiple departments internally as well as interacting with external vendors and state DOIs.
