Public and Labor Account Associate

Primary Location: El Paso, TX
Additional Locations: TX-El Paso
Self-motivated and compassionate individual responsible for customer service, issue resolution, and employee education. Must be flexible and able to address plan sponsor questions and concerns in a timely manner. This is an on-site customer service position and employee will reside in the customer's office location in El Paso.

Fundamental Components:
  • Assisting the account team with implementation, plan administration, wellness initiatives, open enrollment, benefit fairs and escalated issues
  • Researching and resolving member claim issues received via walk-in, telephone or email
  • Promoting and educating members on Aetna tools and wellness initiatives
  • Collaborating with other Aetna departments (Eligibility, Network Management, APM, Precertification, etc.) to ensure timely resolution of escalated issues
  • Assisting in new-hire orientation and education
  • Delivering on-site monthly reports as necessary

Background Experience:
  • 2-5 years health benefits, ihealth insurance, and customer service experience REQUIRED
  • License for Health & Life is REQUIRED
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office suite, & Webex
  • Bachelor's degree desired or equivalent work experience.
