Software Release and Delivery Manager - 64669BR

Primary Location: Denver, Colorado
Additional Locations: CO-Denver, CT-Hartford, MA-Burlington
Great career opportunity to be part of a growing Software / Digital Team!

Looking for some who has experience with the following:

- release management in a multiple software products
- teams distributed across the United States
- audit teams on findings related to compliance
- software development teams
- agile (SAFe) software delivery efforts
- product managers and competing product management priorities

Fundamental Components:
This position will coordinate the software release management process for multiple products and teams with our business unit. We currently release iOS, Android, Web, Services, and cloud infrastructure on a highly iterative cadence across a variety of teams and locations. While we have a regimented delivery pipeline, I expect for this position to provide organization and leadership in helping us navigate our release process.

Other aspects include:
  • Coordinating with engineering and product managers to set releases into non-production and production environments
  • Managing risks that may affect release scope
  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments and updates
  • Manage relationships and coordinate projects between different teams
  • Monitor and document key release steps into non-production and production environments
  • Coordinate with various teams to resolve issues in releases in a timely manner
  • Work with audit teams to provide all evidence of release into production environments as requested

Background Experience:
Strong analytical skills used to identify and resolve problems.
Prior experience with infrastructure operations and Enterprise, application and information architecture design experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership experience, collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.Financial experience a plus.
Experience within a highly technical large data processing environment including mainframe, midrange, network and distributed services.
Strong leadership experience, ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities, effective management of resources and strong communication skills.
College degree and/or 5+ years work experience in Information Technology.
