EAP Management Consultant

This is a full time telework role and can be in any US location.

Provides consistent, high quality consultations regarding worksite issues to account representatives, plan sponsors and employees and coordinates onsite interventions for critical incidents or special situations.

Fundamental Components:
Consult with corporate clients regarding issues that affect the workplace, including but not limited to performance, substance abuse, safety issues, threats of violence, critical incidents, and management referrals. Provide corporate clients with strategies to address workplace issues. Conduct clinical assessment of members and connect with appropriate EAP or behavioral health treatment. Provide case management to monitor member compliance with recommended clinical services.
Provide management consultation to Corporate Clients on workplace issues, such as performance, misconduct, substance abuse, critical incidents, threats of violence, and psychological fitness for duty. Coordinate response and resolution to workplace issues, including coordination of Critical Incident Stress Management services. Monitor employee compliance with treatment through the Management Referral process.


Background Experience:
-Knowledge/Experience with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, or credential of Qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) strongly preferred
-3+ years of Behavioral Health/Counseling experience required post master's degree
-Masters degree in a Behavioral Science related field and current valid independent clinical professional licensure to practice per state regulations required
-Experience in assessing for suicidal and/or homicidal ideation required
-Experience in assessing substance use/abuse required
-Critical incident management experience is preferred
-Experience working with diverse populations required
-Excellent computer skills including MS Office applications such as Word and Outlook required
-Effective verbal and written communication skills required
-Supervisory work experience preferred
-Experience working with management and human resource professionals preferred
-Knowledge and /or experience in Employee Assistance Programs preferred
-Case Management experience preferred
-Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks preferred

Additional Job Information:
Computer literacy in order to navigate through internal/external computer systems, including Excel and Microsoft Word.Ability to effectively participate in a multi-disciplinary team including internal and external participants.Familiarity with basic terminology and concepts used in employee assistance/human services programs.
