National Director, Medicare Provider Sales, Growth & Strategy (60785BR)

Aetna's Medicare Sales Organization is hiring a National Director, Medicare Provider Sales, Growth & Strategy. This role will partner with our National/Local Provider Contracting and Sales team. Help Manage and lead pipeline efforts for new and existing business focused on provider sales strategy. Bring together provider incentives with sales and growth strategy for Aetna's Medicare products for our Medicare Members. Our National Director will have high visibility across the enterprise and, will work very closely with local market leaders and all sales distribution channels.

This opportunity is virtual (Work From Home Full Time) and is not location specific. We are willing to consider candidates based on your location. WFH is offered because there will be up to 50%-75% travel to the local markets to meet with leaders and providers that a part of our Network.

Fundamental Components:
(*) Cultivates strong, productive and influential relationships with the National/ Local Provider Contracting Team, Sales Market Leaders, Local Providers, Brokers and Customers
(*) Lead and strategize Medicare Marketing (local and national) from a sales perspective adhering to CMS rules, regulations and nuances
(*) Lead strategies necessary to attain sales objectives in assigned areas (national in scope)
(*) Manages complex negotiations.
(*) Positions Aetna's full Medicare product portfolio and services to increase sales and maximize revenue through our Provider Network
(*) Manages the integration of client’s and Aetna’s internal organizations to meet client’s installation needs and close the deal.
(*) Identifies various ways to partner with providers by drawing from entire spectrum of Aetna's Medicare product line.

Background Experience:
(*) 8+ years industry experience in sales (preferably Medicare Sales)
(*) Leadership and prior experience working in multiple sales markets and territories
(*) Prior experience working with Providers at the local level
(*) Expertise with CMS rules and regulations as it relates to sales and marketing activities
(*) Applicable state license to sell products-Already preferred or must obtain within the first 90 days
(*) Strong understanding of Medicare Products, Services and Offerings
(*) Excellent presentation and communication skills
(*) Bachelor's degree desired or equivalent work experience.
