Sr. Administrative Assistant

Primary Location: Chicago, Illinois
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford, IL-Chicago
Provide a wide variety of administrative support for multiple managers and their departments. Manage busy calendars, compose communications using accessible technology to compile and analyze data utilizing tools in Essential Links/Company Apps/AetNet Workspaces.

Fundamental Components:
Same components as the Administrative Assistant plus the following additional ones: Delegate for Essential Links/Company Apps: TravelSmart/Concur, UltiPro, HRSource, Talent/Rewards, IT NOW, Procurement/Ariba and Values in Action. Significant portion of duties are in support of advanced administrative support for multiple MEU managers. 1) Effectively communicate, collect, compile and analyze data to provide summaries and observations to managers to make recommendations or draw conclusions with little direction. Logistical support for large team meetings requiring technology, catering, travel and expense processing. 2) Coordinate tasks involving office facilities including space, furniture, equipment and hardware/software technology orders. Assigned manager’s delegate for HR activities including maintaining organizational hierarchy using UltiPro and E.Service. Involvement in coordinating job postings, interview scheduling, new hire/intern installation for office or WAH employee setup. 3) Attend administrative team meetings to share ideas and knowledge to drive efficiencies within the support staff and business units. This position reports to the supervisor of administration and it will provide back-up support to balance workflow for colleagues. May participate in special projects.

Background Experience:
1-3 years administrative or technical support experience.
High school diploma or equivalent or
Associate's College degree (desired).

Additional Job Information:
This position reports to the Supervisor of MEU Administration while supporting various MEU managers and their teams. Work is also delegated to insure back-up support is in place. This position will be in the office in either Hartford or Chicago.
