Small Group Account Executive

Primary Location: Chicago, IL
Additional Locations: IL-Chicago
New business sales for Aetna Small Group products and services in support of profitable growth and other business objectives. Responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans with assigned brokers, General Agents (GAs) and plan sponsors across any portion of the Great Lakes market.

Fundamental Components:
Meets assigned sales objectives and seeks opportunities for profitable growth
Acts as strategic business partner to customers and producers to optimize the positioning of Aetna s products and services and to attain profitability and membership objectives.
Draws from entire spectrum of product line and seeks opportunities to execute cross-selling opportunities.
Works collaboratively within Aetna and across business functions to ensure customer needs are understood and key issues are addressed.
Coordinates resources to ensure a successful case installation of new products and services.

Background Experience:
2-3+ years industry experience.
Willing to travel throughout the Great Lakes region 25-50%

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
