|The Pre-Sales Product Engineer role provides support for sales in demonstrating HDMS solutions, as well as being a subject matter expert on our solutions and markets we serve. Also support sales/marketing efforts as needed. May independently manage midsize product enhancements. Demonstrated project management skills, with knowledge of trends in healthcare, health and benefits, and application of analytics solutions in addressing these trends.|
|A strategic partner to HDMS sales team members to optimize HDMS products and services such that sales goals are achieved in the employer, health plan, and provider markets. Develops and conducts “scenario” based demonstrations of company’s products and services that are relevant to health plans, providers and employers. Member of team selling complex analytic tools and engaged in “consultative sales” · Based on knowledge of market place, research and prospect interviews identifies possible “use cases” for company’s products and services and creates supportive materials (demos, documents, etc.) ·Communicates product features and fundamental components and responds to the needs of various “stakeholders• Represents product strategy in cross functional project activities • Collaborates with market segment to develop and implement plans to achieve segment product strategies • Serves as project manager and/or participant for selected projects. Independently manages mid-sized product enhancements • Ensures that systems are designed, developed, implemented and maintained from a product and business/customer point of view • Performs research and analysis on legislative, competitive and industry issues to recommend new products or product enhancements. • Participates in idea generation and project vision session for the development of new products and product enhancements • Gathers and analyzes feedback in support of performance analysis for products and continual improvement. Ensure sales team members are kept up to date on product enhancements and how those related to enhanced value to our prospective customers.|
Previous Health Benefits Analysis and Consulting experience
Able to present to clients a demonstration of the data warehouse system DART
Previous experience with data warehouse reporting solutions and analytics reporting solutions
Good business acumen
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Able to create playbook reports.
Able to travel up to 75% to central and eastern regions of the US.
