Medicare Product Implementation Manager

Primary Location: Chicago, Illinois
Additional Locations: IL-Chicago

Develops and manages detailed implementation plans to execute product strategy flawlessly in collaboration with cross functional business partners to increase and retain Medicare Exchange membership/revenue. Specifically drives the ongoing build and maintenance for the Group to Individual Retiree Exchange.

Fundamental Components:

Manages ongoing build and maintenance for the Group to Individual Retiree Exchange.
Cultivates relationships with internal and external constituencies such as prospective and existing plan sponsors, regulators, brokers, consultants, industry groups and leaders, and internal resources.
Creates and manages cross-functional project plan development and execution, understands technical aspects and details of execution.
Develops business needs analysis/change requests.
SME for technical aspects of Request for Proposal responses.
Represents Segment during IT requirement sessions.
Troubleshoots complex issues and executes special projects and participates in UAT.
Solves customer needs, creates robust high-level client implementation to migrate initial customer and deliver on Exchange vision/strategy.
Directs the development of training materials for internal audiences related to Exchange roll-out.
May support sales teams as subject matter expert.


5+ years related cross-functional, project management experience.
5+ years benefits administration and exchange experience.
Strong technical knowledge of Medicare products and systems.
Strong communication skills, both internal and external.

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Project Management/Project Management Professional (PMP) is desired

Functional - Products-Medical/Individual Medicare Advantage Plan/4-6 Years
Functional - Project Management/Project Manager/4-6 Years

Telework Specifications:
Option for telework will be evaluated after a certain period of employment. Part-Time Telework (ex: 2 days office-based, 3 days telework)
