We transform and enhance claims, eligibility and a wide variety of other data inputs into a high-value decision-support asset for our clients. Over 7,500 users at more than 100 customers use DART, our web-enabled analytic platform for healthcare business intelligence.
HDMS is seeking an Account Analyst to join our Customer Experience Team. The Account Analyst is responsible for helping HDMS meet and exceed the expectations of our employer clients.

Fundamental Components:
·Serve as a primary analytic expert and resource supporting a key client, and offering support for the larger HDMS account teams.
·Design, develop and deliver on clients’ analytic agendas based on business needs.
·Design dashboards and reports using DART to support clients’ analytic agendas and business needs.
·Present observations and recommendations to clients, as directed.
  • Coordinate with Data Operations in defining, analyzing, and supporting data extracts for client data needs.
·Identify opportunities for additional revenue by identifying additional use cases for DART.
·Support periodic calls and onsite visits to customers by developing interesting agendas and including HDMS leaders as needed.
·Lead account management responsibilities for some clients, supported by Account Managers
·Assure that clients are using HDMS training and advisory services to maximize the value of their investment in HDMS
·Share analytic insights and developments with the larger organization; partner with clinical advisory resources in expanding and developing new analytic pathways for clients
·Serves as first-line product expert to clients.
·Interface and collaborate with benefit consultants and other advisors, as needed.
·Collaborates with the larger account team o release testing
·Identifies product enhancements based on client needs and communicates them to HDMS Product Management.

Background Experience:
3+ years in providing healthcare analytics to employers or other medical plan sponsors.
·Solid analytic background in using claims data to identify cost and utilization trends. DART experience a plus
·Demonstrated relationship management skills.
·Expert in Excel, Powerpoint



·Excellent oral and written communications skills, including ability to explain statistical and methods in a non-technical way.
·Experience with risk adjustment models and/or episode treatment groups.
·Experience using very large databases required
·Experience or knowledge of development of very large databases including business requirements analysis, ETL, source to target mapping, data integration, and data transformation a plus.
·Experience in consultative selling or interest to learn
·Willingness to learn new analytic methods
·Knowledge of SAS or similar a plus; knowledge of MS Access a plus
·Knowledge of underwriting, plan design and reinsurance is a plus.
·A passion for teamwork, customer service and solving business problems.
·BA/BS. Graduate degree a plus.
