Senior Software Developer in Test

Description:
Implement and execute automation testing and coverage that ensures the delivery of a high-quality user experience for web, mobile, iOS, and Android platforms. Work in an Agile Scrum Team environment. Contribute to the quality engineering activities throughout every phase of the SDLC, including design, development, and testing. Provide technical guidance to support project quality activities. Promote proper implementation of Agile SAFe techniques and Principals for sprint planning and estimation. Oversee the test coverage and execution of Unit, Integration, Acceptance, System, Regression and UAT. Evaluate and record the test results and log issues in a test management tool. Review final deliverables to ensure they meet expected quality standards. Evaluate the efficiency of existing QA processes and recommend improvements. Collaborate with engineering on a multi-platform test automation framework by working with best of breed technologies, practices and tools using knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Build framework. Develop automated tests using TestNG, Cucumber, Selenium, and object oriented languages such as C# or Java.

Fundamental Components:
Minimum two (2) years of experience working in quality engineering. Requires experience building automation frameworks and writing tests for user interfaces/API using object-oriented languages, including C# and Java. Requires experience with Selenium Web Driver for web and Test Management tools, such as Application lifecycle Management (“ALM”) and agile tool Jira; troubleshooting complex systems; and assessing Agile frameworks, such as Scrum, Kanban and SAFe.

Background Experience:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. Will accept combination of degrees equivalent to a US Master’s.
