This team is responsible for Aetna's digital strategy and all digital products; as well as the development roadmap and execution of the roadmap. A key part of this team is to build an integrated platform and underlying products to drive engagement and revolutionize health and wellness.

Aetna is taking on a major initiative to redesign and rebuild many of its customer facing digital assets. This effort will include a completely new approach to developing software within Aetna, using the latest design approaches, technologies, and processes. Aetna Digital is a newly formed startup like business unit within Aetna, which will design, build and deliver a completely new and integrated digital experience for our users.

Fundamental Components:

Aetna is enhancing the experience of our members and partners through the development of robust digital experiences based on the Adobe Experience Manager platform. We are looking for a seasoned developer and architect to join our in house development team to help guide the future of our platform and expand content into single page apps and other headless applications.

The desired candidate will have experience developing scalable web experiences in Adobe Experience Manager version 6.4 or other content management platforms.
Experience developing headless applications using AEM is a must strongly desired.
Experience structuring content within AEM for Omni-channel communications is also highly desirable.
Experience developing Web applications using any of the common Java frameworks such as J2EE.

Experience with architecture and system configuration to optimize the environment for performance of multiple high volume production sites.


Background Experience:
7+ years of experience in a combination of marketing technology, digital, or information technology.
B2B, B2B2C, and B2C digital site management at an enterprise level.
Stays current on industry tools and digital technology platforms.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES
Functional - Leadership/Lead a major change effort culture change/4-6 Years
Functional - Marketing/Product development/4-6 Years

TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCES
Technical - Development Experience/N-Tiered/4-6 Years/Power User
Technical - Development Tools//1-3 Years/Power User
