Advanced Software Development Engineer

Primary Location: Burlington, Massachusetts
Additional Locations: MA-Burlington
Position Summary

Craft rich, interactive user experiences for Aetna web platforms. Build high quality user experiences and architectural planning for front-end technology. Work in cross-functional and distributed teams using Agile methodologies. Work closely with designers, development teams, marketing managers and business analysts to deliver robust scalable solutions to meet their digital marketing needs. Develop responsive and rich user experience websites on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Design and build a robust common framework that supports high reusability of web component and template across websites. Work on web architectures with technologies including CSS3, HTML5, Java Script, JSF, JSP, Web Services, EJB 3.x, and JMS.

Fundamental Components:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications or related. Will accept a combination of degrees equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor’s degree.

Background Experience:

Minimum 5 years of software development experience
. Must have experience developing robust scalable solutions to meet digital marketing needs; developing user experience websites on Adobe Experience Manager; and building robust framework to support web components. Must have worked on complex web architectures including the following technologies: CSS3; HTML5; Java Script; JSF; JSP; HTL (HTML Template Language); Web Services; EJB 3.x; JMS; Java 2 Enterprise Edition; Apache Sling; Java Content Repository; OSGi; and AngularJS.
