Health Care Quality Manager

Primary Location: Brunswick, NC
Additional Locations: NC-Brunswick
Accountable for health care quality projects and initiatives through direction setting and leadership.
Assimilates information to proactively develop quality activities aligned with
company strategies and values. Links the quality management activities to
business goals. Proactively builds strong teams and business relationships,
both internally and externally. Serves as a resource and subject matter expert
(SME) on aspects of the quality program to develop and influence business strategies.

Fundamental Components:

Serves as a QM Manager on the Behavioral Health Quality Management team.

Manages, directs and plans multiple complex projects related to accreditation activities.

Project oversight to include the initiation, identification and completion of key
deliverables to ensure all business objectives are met. Forms and leads
cross-functional workgroups to design and implement accreditation, clinical
quality and patient safety initiatives.

Design and develop documentation templates, policies, materials to support NCQA projects and initiatives.

Influences change or enhancements to business policies/processes to improve
information quality, availability and access.

Develops and participates in presentation and consulting to business partners on activities and results.

Works with other departments nationally to achieve business excellence.

Background Experience:

Management of large quality programs with external agencies (NCQA, CMS, etc)

Progressive experience in operational quality management roles in the healthcare industry, regulatory environment and quality management.

Demonstrated leadership ability.

Data interpretation and analysis experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.

Clinical Licensure preferred
