Description:
Will deliver high quality, customer focuses, distributed computing products and services, including problem resolution, help desk support, service requests and installation services to our customers which meet business objectives while adhering to corporate standards, processes and expense guidelines.

Fundamental Components:
May or May not have supervisory responsibilities. May lead, develop and coach team members, whose responsibilities include distributed desktop support, desktop and infrastructure maintenance, installation services, help desk support and problem resolution.Participates in day to day activities while aligning resources and managing the workload of the team.Handles incoming SPOC phone calls as assigned. Acts as a point of escalation for customers, team members and management and ensure optimum service quality through ongoing management and continuous improvement initiatives.Manages administrative processes (asset management, de-acquisitions, change/service requests, and problem management). Keeps current on new technology and its benefit to the company direction. Participates in pilots and testing of IT technology and provide feedback to appropriate AIS Units. Participates in research on non standard product solutions to meet customer needs. May participate in employee hiring, as well as provide input to performance management and compensation processes. Performs and participates in DBAR (Disaster Backup and Recovery) Initiatives. Ensures customer business needs are met while adhering to corporate standards and meeting service level agreements. Facilitates communication amongst customers, team members, and other AIS areas. Participates in Corporate Real-estate Project initiatives and communicates scheduled activities to the organization (Office Closures/Restacks/Consolidations). Participates in and sometime leads major project initiatives (i.e. Application Rollouts/Desktop Refresh, etc.), providing communications to customers, scheduling of activities, including resource scheduling.Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs.Position may require periodic 7 X 24 support and approximately 10 - 20% travel. Background Experience:
Some supervisory, management and administrative experience, excellent consultative and communication skills, analytical ability, decisiveness, strong judgment and the ability to work effectively with client and IT management and staff and vendors.3-5 years PC desktop equipment and associated hardware/software experience.

Additional Job Information:
In-depth knowledge of personal computing and PC/Workstation based LAN systems, hardware and software, tools, client functions and applications required.
