Sales Manager, Beijing - 66705BR

Position Summary/Mission:
  • Supports the development of strong relationships directly with customers, prospects and internal business partners that lead to the achievement of new sales, profitable growth and earnings targets.
Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements:
  • Supports the Region Head of Sales in the achievement of the revenue goals for the assigned regional territory
  • Assists in the cultivation and development of producer and consultant contacts in the assigned territory
  • Maintains contact and opportunity data in software package
  • Develops research and material around potential prospects and marketplace data
  • Maintains awareness of competitive landscape
  • Produces sales of International product through direct and producer distribution channels
  • Supports AGB Sales Directors with large case sales efforts, cold calling, telemarketing and lead generation
  • Articulate the Aetna Global Value Proposition
  • Supports the cross-sell efforts with National Accounts, Middle Market and Small Business segments
  • Assists in the development of strategy in large case RFP responses
  • Coordinates marketing efforts such as mailers, e-mail communications and product updates
  • To take responsibility to always actively treat customers fairly (TCF) and support / drive any TCF initiative

Background/Experience Desired:
  • 5 years industry or customer service experience
  • 2-4 years experience with account sales and/ or client management
  • Fluent in written & spoken English
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the PRC & international medical insurance market and core competitive set

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Licensure as required by local authority
