Manage the direct to consumer sales channel and D2C Medicare Field Sales Reps throughout Louisiana and Mississippi and, if appropriate, retention efforts for assigned business or customer segments, products and geographies.

We are looking for an inspirational Medicare sales manager who has a passion for coaching and leading a team. In this role you will manage, supervise and lead direct sales reps in the field. Looking for a lead from the front lines coach to support the D2C sales channel. Medicare is one of the fastest growing segments in healthcare and Aetna is one of the fastest growing carriers. This position will also participate in the management team to help develop and drive local market strategies along with owning partnerships with key local influential providers



Fundamental Components:
Establishes specific goals for assigned areas of responsibility in line with strategic objectives.

Builds successful relationships with constituents.

Provides input to provider and network development areas to ensure competitive products and services.

Develops, executes and communicates a comprehensive strategies aligned with customers’ objectives, financial position and employee benefits strategies.

As appropriate, responsible for recruiting, training and developing staff.

Works effectively cross-functionally internally to complete sales, installation, servicing and product development activities as appropriate.

Oversees communication and planning among key stakeholders that ultimately results in the delivery of a successful finalist presentation.

Monitors industry information and competitive environment of the marketplace to position Aetna’s strength accordingly.

Educates constituents on Aetna specific policies, product information, and procedures as well as industry issues and related current topics and expects the same of team members.Manages complex negotiations.

Positions products, rate levels and expanded product portfolios to increase sales and maximize revenue.


Background Experience:
Minimum three to five years sales management experience in a direct to consumer product or service with a successful track record.

Minimum five to seven years’ experience in sales experience with healthcare sales, preferably Medicare DSNP, Medicare Advantage and PDP plans.

Bachelor’s Degree required, OH state Life and Health license required.
